We believe in creating beautiful tomorrows for our crafts, people and planet. We look towards the future, practicing and building processes that are sustainable, innovative and environmentally conscious.

We are the first Indian fashion house to join Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) as 'Brand & Retailer' Member for us to measure, assess our sustainability performance and further drive environmental, social responsibility across the value chain.

“As a nature and animal lover, and a vegan, I feel very strongly about our impact on the environment. The fashion industry is the second largest polluting industry in the world and therefore sustainability is the need of the hour. At the House of Anita Dongre, we are striving to be sustainable and are making firm efforts to reduce our environmental footprint. ”

Sourcing Sustainable Fabrics

We use TENCEL™ fibers which originate from the renewable raw material wood created by the natural process of photosynthesis. The cellulosic fibers are manufactured using an environmentally responsible production process. Composed of natural material, TENCEL™ fibers are biodegradable and compostable and can fully revert back to nature. Moreover, wood and pulp used by the Lenzing Group comes from natural forests and sustainably managed plantations.

In 2018, for World Environment Day, we collaborated with Reliance Industries Ltd. R | Elan. to create the Earth Tee, a sustainable t-shirt made from recycled plastic bottles.
